Two New Full Time Officers Appointed to DPD

For immediate release:

DOVER, MA – Officers Ryan Sullivan and Edward Maguire were each appointed as full time officers byby the Board of Selectmen to fill recent vacancies. Both officers have already completed full time police academies and are able to transition to their new positions immediately.

Officer Sullivan previously worked as a police officer for the town of Brewster and Framingham State University. He is a graduate of the Plymouth Police Academy’s 57th ROC and has over 7 years of police experience.  He has worked for Dover as a special police officer since 2018.

Officer Maguire previously worked as a police officer for the Framingham State University Police Department and has over 8 years of police experience. He is a graduate of the Lowell Police Academy. He has worked for the PD as a special police officer since 2019.
